Board Members

The Holy Cross Educational Trust was registered (incorporated) in January 2000. Deacon Benny John Chirayil, Vadavathoor, Vijayapuram Village, Kottayam, was the founder. Among the several objects of the Trust, establishing and running educational institutions including colleges and schools was the first. Starting at the Holy Cross College of Management & Technology was the realization of this objective. Profile of the members is given below:

M.K. Scaria

Mr. M.K. Scaria is the Manager of the College also is he is a Cardamom Planter from Idukki. As an investor and member of the Board from its initial stage, he has great experience in developing the College. from the small beginnings to the present honorable position. 

Alexander Kurian

Mr. Alexander Kurian is a coffee planter. Noble and gentle in his bearings, Alexander has the reputation of a munificent donor for the right causes. The support provided by him during the difficult days needs special mention. 

Dr. Philipose John 

Dr. Philipose John is a cardiologist of a great reputation. His services are used by a number of hospitals in the Kottayam District and other hospitals of the neighboring districts. Having completed his medical studies from Christian Medical College Vellore, Dr. Philipose John is a cardiologist sought after by many people. Dr. Philipose serves in the Holy Cross Educational Trust from the very beginning.

Dr. K.P. Thomas 

Dr. K.P. Thomas is a retired Professor from the Government Medical College Kottayam. By specialization, he is a plastic surgeon and he served as the H.O.D of Plastic Surgery Department of Medical College. After retirement from service in 1994, Dr. K.P. Thomas is working as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Caritas Hospital, Kottayam.

The Trust is looking after the affairs of the Holy Cross College of Management And Technology. Every year the audited accounts and balance sheet are submitted to the Commissioner of Income Tax. The efficient financial management of the Trust and the College is key to the success of both. Absolute transparency of the transactions of the Trust and the College are ensured.
